Lost in Fog.

Set out this morning to row ~14k+, hopefully developing some solid steady state and pushing to build our base.  Ended up doing about 1.5k before we were turned back by steadily thickening fog.  We get it rarely- I talked to one of our seniors, who thinks this is the third practice she’s missed due to fog- but it does happen.  Fog is among the most frustrating of weather cancelations because underneath there’s this incredible flat water just out of reach. . . ah well.

Back to the boathouse for a morning of core, then off to breakfast. We’ve been making good progress lately and I’m very excited to take a women’s eight and men’s four down to Oregon State for a scrimmage Saturday to kick things off.  Hopefully we’ll be a little bit fresher for a easy morning break and ready to test the work we’ve done so far.
